Arctic dawn in Qikiqtarjuaq, "The big island" - Akshayuk Pass 2008 expedition
Beautiful dawn in the Inuit population of Qikiqtarjuaq that in Inuktitut language means "The big island". Little by little this small town of less than 600 inhabitants, formerly known as Broughton Island, is awakening as the arctic sun rises.
