Route through the defile where are the most vertical mountain walls of the Arctic. We will walk under Mount Thor over 1 kilometre of granite wall. This mountain has the wall with the largest vertical sheer drop on earth. Visit the gargantuan stony double-cylinder of Mount Asgard, considered one of the best views in North America. There it was shot a spectacular scene of James Bond, "007 agent" movie. We'll see hanging glaciers, Inuit villages, floating icebergs, deep fjords, northern lights, etc.

1000 Km route in a sled conditioned for travellers hauled by  snowmobile through the frozen ice sea of the big Baffin Island, located in the Canadian High Arctic, nearly 3,000 km north of the great cities in Canada. Guided by  Inuits with lot of experience in  polar bear tracking, we will cross the frozen sea on the east coast of Baffin, in search of the world's largest carnivore. This area is considered one of the world's Capital of Polar Bear or "Nanoq" as  Inuits call this amazing animal.

Using as a base a hotel built specifically for this trip on the frozen sea, we will travel by snowmobile in the key point of the mythical Northwest Passage. Guided by experienced Inuit, some of whom were born in igloos, we will cross the frozen Barrow and Lancaster straits. A frozen ice sea area where pressure ridges and plains of ice mix.

This trip takes place in Yellowknife, one of the best destinations in the world to observe the aurora borealis, the most spectacular and brilliant phenomenon of nature.

During the day, we make an excursion by dogsled through the snowy forests of Yellowknife and a snowmobile trip. Optionally, we could make a hike on snowshoes, to live the experience of flying over Yellowknife by a light aircraft flight, to make a Dene cultural tour or to visit the Old Town.
