Easy walking tour in the Greenland icecap

There is no better way to know this unfathomable territory than doing a simple route, overnight in a tent on the second largest ice mass on the planet, away from any concern, in complete silence, broken only occasionally by the roar of icebergs smashing in the distance.

Our route will start at the exact point where do the great polar expedition when crossing Greenland from east to west. Here, we will learn first hand, in complete security and without having to be an elite athlete, what feel and live those seasoned adventurers when go deep into the infinitely white.

During the trip we will have the opportunity to see from above, a bird's eye view, the giant icebergs drifting across the North Atlantic. In fact, our path starts from a place dubbed the Blue Diamont Bay where the beautiful deep blue icebergs dot the bay and where it is also easy to see seals.

Even we can see with our own eyes the marks of thawing, such as rivers and waterfalls, glaciers, and the remnants of ancient ice. Incluso podremos ver una “nueva” isla que apareció al retirarse el hielo del casquete polar debido al calentamiento global del planeta. We will can see a "new" island that appeared when the polar icecap withdrew due to global warming. Here, better than anywhere else, can appreciate the terrible effects of climate change.

Greenland has more than two million square kilometers, of which 90% is eternal ice, so who somehow has not been in the polar icecap, does not know Greenland does...
